What is your management fee?
Our management fee is competitive and transparent, typically ranging from 8–12% of the monthly rent, depending on the services required. We offer customised packages to suit your specific needs — single property owners, multi-property landlords, and NRI investors each have tailored options. Contact us for a detailed quote.
How do you screen tenants?
We conduct comprehensive background checks including employment verification, credit history analysis (CIBIL score review), previous landlord references, police verification, and Aadhaar-based identity verification. What if the tenant doesn't pay rent on time?
We guarantee your rent payment on the 1st of every month, regardless of tenant payment delays. Our team handles all follow-ups, legal notices, and recovery processes if needed — ensuring you receive uninterrupted income. This is part of our Rent Guarantee programme, available on Pro and Premium plans.
How quickly can you find a tenant for my property?
On average, we secure quality tenants within 15–30 days of property onboarding. Our extensive marketing network, professional photography, virtual tours, and a large pre-verified tenant database help us fill vacancies quickly — while never compromising on quality screening.
Can I choose my own tenant?
Absolutely. We present you with verified tenant profiles — complete with CIBIL score, employment details, and background check summary — and you have the final say in tenant selection. We provide all necessary information to help you make an informed, confident decision.
What areas do you serve?
We currently operate in major metro cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Pune. We are rapidly expanding to Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Chennai, and other cities. NRI landlords with properties in any of our active cities can onboard remotely through our fully digital process.
I'm an NRI. Can I manage my property remotely through MakaanOne?
Yes — MakaanOne is purpose-built for NRI landlords. Our platform handles FEMA-compliant rent repatriation, TDS deduction and Form 16A generation, digital POA onboarding, and sends you real-time WhatsApp notifications when rent hits your NRO account. Is there a contract lock-in period?
No lock-in. MakaanOne operates on a month-to-month basis — you can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. We believe our service quality should be the reason you stay, not a contract clause.
